Returns & Exchanges

Our Quality Standards

By Catalfo garments are proudly handcrafted in small quantities. This allows us to offer our customers flexible customization design options. We do not offer alterations in house but do recommend our clients to the best-of-the-best. All of our designs pass through multiple quality control inspections by our team and Designer to ensure that they meet our highest quality standards. Slight imperfections or minor variances from item to item are reasonable as these pieces are individually made and not mass produced. Only items which have been approved, are then delicately wrapped and shipped out to their new home.


Returns and Exchanges: Custom /Made-To-Order Garments and In Stock Dresses

All made-to-order and custom garments are non-refundable, and not eligible for exchange. This is due to the fact that they are made specific to your preferences and therefore cannot be resold. Any order cancellations must be submitted within 10 days of the date of purchase, and are subject to cancellation fees on a case by case basis to cover any costs that have already been incurred by By Catalfo. 


Returns and Exchanges: Ready-Made & In-stock Items

If you wish to return or exchange an item please contact us within 48 hours of receiving it to let us know why you were unhappy and if there is anything we can do to make it better. Bridal robes and loungewear purchased from our ready-made shop collections are eligible for exchanges or refunds if shipped back within 5 days of the date it was delivered to you. Please note that any item which is returned visibly worn, damaged or otherwise in an altered condition from what was originally shipped, is not eligible for a refund.  All original tags must be intact. All returns and exchanges must be shipped back with a tracking number that is provided to By Catalfo within the 5 day window for return/exchange eligibility. If your package is shipped without a tracking number we cannot guarantee your return/exchange.  As is standard practice, the customer is responsible for paying all shipping costs to send approved returns back to By Catalfo. Please note that all initial shipping fees are non-refundable and that a restocking fee of $5 per order may apply.  


Returns and Exchanges: Items On Sale or Promotion

All items purchased on promotion (including Black Friday Cyber Monday) are final sale. Only exchanges or store credits will be accepted. If you wish to exchange an item that you purchased on sale, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt of your item. Items must be shipped back with tracking within 5 days of it being delivered to you. Please note that all return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, and that a restocking fee of $5 per order may apply.  


Returns and Exchanges: Non-North American Customers

For all non-North American returns and exchanges, in addition to the aforementioned return/exchange policies, customers must comply in full with any specific return instructions provided by By Catalfo. Full adherence with our policies and procedures is required, as not doing so may result in unexpected delays, or fees which By Catalfo reserves the right to deduct from the refund amount.


U.S. Orders

At By Catalfo, we proudly ship worldwide including to our lovely customers in the U.S. As part of our commitment to complying with international trade laws, we follow all U.S. government regulations, which are frequently evolving.  Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to accept returns/exchanges from the U.S., and as such, all sales to the U.S. are final until further notice. Please note that the customer is responsible for any U.S. duties, taxes, tariffs or other fees associated with their order.  


International Orders

For swift and secure delivery, and to minimize processing time through your country's Customs, we recommend customers choose to ship with DHL Worldwide Express. If you have another preferred shipping method or courier service, please advise us in advance and we will be more than happy to accommodate. Please be aware that your order may require a processing time in addition to your selected shipping time. Please be aware that international shipping times cannot be guaranteed due to the possibility of courier or International Customs delays that are beyond our control. By Catalfo will not be held responsible for any unforeseen shipping interruptions caused after your order has shipped. Please note that customers are responsible for paying any/all applicable duties, taxes or other associated fees on International orders and returns.
